Summer 2013 Anime List - 6th Week

Every week I would make an image like shown above(I don’t know what kind of art it is, a collage or mosaic? Or some word that is not in my vocabulary yet). I would show it to my friends in my social media account and we would rank them according to the impact of the episode and comment on them. Note that I only post the animes we both watch. For me, I don’t watch fan service animes for girls like Free!, Brothers Conflict and Makai Ouji:Devils and Realist. For her, she doesn’t watch fan service animes for boys like Highschool DxD and Hyperdimension Neptunia.

In my opinion, for the sixth week of Summer 2013 animes:

1^st Dangan Ronpa(Episode 5)

2^nd To Aru Kagaku no Railgun S(Episode 17)

3^rd Kamisama no Inai Nichiyoubi(Episode 5)

You may ask why it’s the sixth week when the anime episodes are only the 5^th one. It’s because of that one anime that is already on its 6^th episode: Dog and Scissors

And I consider that the first week of the season.

For this post and every other post every week, I’m going to comment on each anime.

Note that this list is in random and isn’t listed in anyway and sentences between * *are spoilers.

Dangan Ronpa : The Animation

5^th episode

This 5^th episode is about the second Class Trial where they debate who is the murderer of Fujisaki Chihiro.  In episode 4, one would suspect that the murderer is Genocider Sho because of how the murder was taken place but it would be absurd for the murderer to be among them. *But indeed she is among them, hidden in bookworm. She admits that she didn’t kill Fujisaki because she only targets “hot guys that turn her on” and this was confirmed by Naegi.*

Even with all of the evidence in episode 4, it is impossible to realize that *Ohwada Mondo killed him* without him slipping his tongue. That is what makes this anime unpredictable and exciting with every passing episode.

What’s freaky about Genocider Sho/Shou/Syo is, because she is usually loud and full of “passion”, when calm and thinking.

I noticed something every time the investigation starts that will give away the identity of the murderer (or at least in Chapters 1 and 2) : *They do not appear/no screen time during investigation.*

Fate Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya

4^th Episode

The 4^th episode is about Illya and Miyu retrieving the second card, *Caster who is Medea*. The episode is about the physical and mental difference between Illya and Miyu, like Miyu is academically and athletically excellent while Illya is normal, and how Miyu can’t *fly* when  Illya easily can because she is creative.

This plot would be a typical friendship and team work is needed to save the world and yada yada yada. I only watch it because it’s in the Fate Series even if it’s only a parody.

And Lolis. You gotta love lolis in cute dresses.

Shingeki no Kyojin

Attack on Titan

17^th episode

The action is back! Some foreshadowing too. Like *Reiner’s immediate death and light speed regeneration* and *his recognition with “nice ass bitch” titan*.  With all the talk and whatnot, the thrill disappeared but this came back when Sasha was attacked by a freaking on all fours titan that looked like it had an orgasm.

Genshiken Nidaime

As seen in the image, this is why I love Genshiken.

This anime was first recommended to me by my cousin. She said that it’s about a variety of otakus who go to college and live their lives to the fullest. Since I’m currently in college and an otaku, I can relate to their circumstances.

I don’t know if the animes characters being cosplayed here are of the same company as Genshiken or Genshiken just doesn’t care for plagiarism or it’s not actually plagiarism if you’re showing it and not claiming it for yourself. Either way, Genshiken will always be funny and sad as hell.

5^th episode

Ah Arararararararararararararagi Kiyomi. You were nowhere to be found then suddenly you show up and become the hero. I don’t know if his power levels are over 9000 or his enemy is just plain weak. Anyway, I don’t know where the plot is going and that is what’s exciting about the Monogatari Series. SO MUCH RaNDOMNESS.

I just recently learned that SHAFT Company is going to animate ALL of the Monogatari Series. So yeah.

Blood Lad

5^th episode

Blood Lad would be a typical mainstream anime like Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Beelzebub or any other anime with a stupidly powerful protagonist. It has comedy, action and a story to actually tell. Also, this

I’m still disappointed with the time skip but aside from that, who would not love the advancement of the plot? I mean really.

This anime just gets weirder and weirder. But a very unique plot; Not clichéd at all.

In this episode, she tries to be Dandere or Kuudere. As always her plans fails as *you need a guy to talk to you first by default*.

Inu no Hasami wa Tsukaiyou

Dog and Scissors

6^th episode

Pettanko(flat chested) jokes. Who doesn’t love them?(Well maybe flat chested women don’t like it. They just compensate with Flat being Justice). This anime just goes by one story per episode. It has no real plot that I can realize and just go by it with jokes, harassment and sitcoms.
